LEGO Fortnite: how to fix High Complexity Area error
LEGO Fortnite has been around for a while now, and various updates have made it more and more stable over time. However, with the latest LEGO Fortnite v29.00 patch notes adding a bunch of complex structures through the new Kits system, one error is popping up more and more in players’ worlds.
We’ll explain what the “High Complexity Area” error means, and how you can try to fix it in your world.
What does the High Complexity Area error mean?
In short, the High Complexity Area error means that there are too many structures, objects, or other items in the area that you’re currently standing in. If the area gets too complex, the game will even prevent you from building entirely – there are even reports of the game kicking players or crashing in these areas.
How to fix the High Complexity Area error in LEGO Fortnite
When this error message appears, the game recommends you either “remove builds or move away”, and those are your best options to get rid of the error. It’d be better to leave that area with your creations intact, as you can have multiple villages in LEGO Fortnite to satisfy your creative desires.
If you don’t want to do that, you can try a few other things to see if the message goes away like relogging out and back into the world, restarting your game, or checking the server status, as sometimes a dodgy server connection can be responsible for this error. If it persists though, your only option is to find another spot in your world to keep building.
