Fortnite

Fortnite is a popular battle royale game from Epic Games. In it, 100 players launch from the Battle Bus and land on a large map before scavenging for weapons and fighting to be the last team standing. It's also famous for its many crossover events, including partnerships with Star Wars, Marvel, and singer Ariana Grande.

Fortnite started life as Fortnite: Save the World, where players team up to build forts and fight against zombies with a range of traps and guns. Following the popularity of PUBG, Epic went to work on creating a battle royale mode. Since it was released for free, it quickly surpassed Save the World and even PUBG itself, in terms of popularity.

Some of the most famous Twitch streamers owe their careers to Fortnite, and many celebrities have jumped on the bandwagon. These days, you can't go on holiday without catching a kid performing a victory dance from the game.
