Overwatch 2 collab with LE SSERAFIM brings K-pop girl group to BlizzCon
League of Legends has long had success by embracing K-pop into its community and it looks like Blizzard wants to follow suit with a K-pop collaboration in Overwatch 2. Overwatch 2’s first musical crossover event will feature LE SSERAFIM, a rising name among South Korea's many girl groups.
This collaboration coincides with the release of the quintet’s next music video, which is going to be launched on October 26, 2023, for its newest single, Perfect Night.
Following that on October 30, 2023, details will be revealed on the special game mode and items featured during the in-game event. Among these will be legendary hero skins inspired by the five members of the group, Kim Chae-won, Sakura, Huh Yun-jin, Kazuha, and Hong Eun-chae.
LE SSERAFIM are coming to Overwatch 2.

The collab event itself will begin on November 1, 2023, and LE SSERAFIM will perform live at BlizzCon on November 4, 2023.
Due to Blizzard’s connections to esports like StarCraft, Warcraft, and Overwatch, which often were heavily dominated by South Korean players, the country’s culture always had a special appeal for many fans of the developer – and the same can be said for Riot Games and League of Legends.
LE SSERAFIM debuted in May 2022, quickly rising through the ranks. Aside from Korean, they have recorded Japanese versions of several of their songs. Perfect Night, which will come out this October, will be their first English-language song.
