Fortnite: how to get Mosaic Tiles in Chapter 5
With less than two weeks to go until Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 2 hits, a set of in-game quests have launched that build up to the new season. As has been revealed by leaks, Fortnite Odyssey is the Chapter 5 Season 2 theme, and we’re building up to that by assembling a giant mosaic featuring the three-headed dog, Cerberus.
To complete it, you’ll need to finish a series of Fortnite Odyssey quests, with new ones released daily, and collect a lot of Mosaic Tiles while playing the game. We’ll explain how to earn Fortnite Mosaic Tiles, as it’s not immediately obvious.
How to collect Mosaic Tiles in Fortnite
Collecting tiles and completing the Mosaic Snapshot quests will unlock the full image.

Mosaic Tiles can drop in Fortnite when you damage opponents, open chests or other containers, and hit weak points.
When you do any of these things, a Mosaic tile has a chance to drop onto the ground. They’re easy to miss as they’re quite small, but thankfully, they will be automatically picked up if you walk over them, so don’t worry too much about missing them.
You’ll require an awful lot of them to earn the biggest rewards though – and you don’t have very long to get them. Here are all the quests related to Mosaic Tiles and their rewards:
- Collect 25 Mosaic Tiles – 10k XP
- Collect 50 Mosaic Tiles – 10k XP
- Collect 100 Mosaic Tiles – 10k XP
- Collect 200 Mosaic Tiles – 10k XP
- Collect 300 Mosaic Tiles – Grim Emblem back bling
- Complete the Mosaic – Odyssey’s Origin loading screen
